Dr. Kelly Tierney joined our staff in 2015. Dr. Tierney has always had a huge love for all things furry. Her love for animals started early and growing up she would always bring home stray animals. After many years of working in her local animal hospital she decided that she wanted to make a difference and attend Veterinary school.

She is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada. A native of Oceanside, Dr. Tierney spent her summers growing up in the Hamptons. Her main interests are nutrition, feline and small mammal medicine. She has a huge soft spot for geriatric patients.

When she is not at work, Kelly enjoys hiking, going to the beach, collecting cats (haha) and national park hopping. She shares her life with her husband James, who is also a Veterinarian, their beautiful daughter Athena, and adorable son Finn. They are fortunate to be able to enjoy their life with their fur kids Swiss Miss and Parsnip (two kitties).
